The Opportunity

As Director Network Operations and Performance, you will be a key member of CALHN's Senior Leadership Team, partnering with clinical and operational leaders to shape care delivery across the network. Reporting to the Executive Director Operations and Performance, you will lead patient flow, demand and service delivery to ensure safe, efficient and patient-centred care.

You will:

* Oversee performance against key activity and access targets, using data to drive improvement
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with clinical leaders, statewide services and system partners
* Shape and manage sustainable budgets and business plans that support quality care and accountability
* Establish strong governance for capacity, bed management and funded growth to support system resilience
* Promote a culture of safety, quality improvement and patient centred care in all decision making
* Lead and develop a capable, engaged and high performing workforce that drives collaboration and results

About You

You are a values-driven leader who thrives in complex health environments and is motivated by making a meaningful difference for patients, people and communities.

You bring:

* Proven leadership expertise in patient flow, service delivery and multi-site operations
* Demonstrated strategic and analytical ability to solve complex problems and implement solutions
* A strong ability to lead change and influence diverse stakeholders across complex health systems
* Proven experience managing human, financial and material resources to align with business goals
* A strong track record in strategic planning, program development, service improvement and clinical governance
* Demonstrated ability to monitor, evaluate and enhance service delivery using evidence-based approaches
* Broad knowledge of the Australian health system, emerging trends, and disaster management frameworks
