About the role
Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated Rehabilitation Unit in a Permanent Part Time (0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week) position. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care that helps patients regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You'll play a valued role in delivering exceptional care while continuing to grow your clinical skills in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Salary range: $37.00 - $39.36 per hour
What you'll be doing
Working closely with Registered Nurses and the wider healthcare team, you will support the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate rehabilitation care.
* Deliver patient-centred nursing care within your scope of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, comfort and recovery goals.
* Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans.
* Monitor, recognise and report changes in patients' health status and clinical condition.
* Accurately document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
* Support patient education and encourage participation in their recovery journey.
* Maintain a safe clinical environment through adherence to workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, professional development and mandatory training activities.
About you
You are a caring and motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
* Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated ability to provide safe, high-quality patient care within an acute or rehabilitation setting.
* Strong clinical assessment, observation and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Commitment to delivering patient-centred care with compassion, dignity and respect.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
* Sound documentation and clinical reporting skills.
* A proactive approach to ongoing learning, professional development and quality improvement.
