The Position:
We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our supportive and growing team to work with our participant in Moe.
As part of our team of support workers, you will assist with the participant with community access, shopping, sleepovers, in-home assistance, cooking, and other daily tasks. The participant has an ABI, so you will also need to assist with prompting, reminders, and finishing tasks.
The hours of work are dependent on the participant's needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Demonstrated knowledge of disability and mental health.
* Experience in the Support Worker or Disability Field.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain).
* Victorian Driver's license and vehicle.
* NDIS worker Screening Check (willing to obtain).
* Minimum 2 years experience.
* ABI experience preferred.

Tasks & responsibilities
* Work with a participant who has varying needs.
* Flexible work arrangements around their individual needs, including shift times/days, personal care tasks.
* You may need to undergo additional training such has manual handling, medication training, etc.
* Be available for last-minute calls to fill in cancelled shifts.
