About this Position
The Aboriginal Counsellor role involves working with local service providers to deliver programs that engage the community and provide direct support services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide therapy services to individuals and families affected by child sexual assault, trauma, violence, and abuse.
* Foster relationships with the Aboriginal community to drive positive outcomes.
* Implement interventions that focus on families who have been impacted by harmful behaviour.
Requirements
* Possess a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling, or Community Development.
* Demonstrate expertise in delivering therapeutic services and building community connections.
* Hold accreditation with the Harmful Sexual Behaviours Counsellor Accreditation Scheme.
* Show evidence of a current unrestricted driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
