About the role
As a Business Support Officer, you will play a critical behind-the-scenes role in providing high quality administrative and customer service support to Bamara staff.
You will support our Job Mentors through scheduling, reporting and a range of administrative functions, and office-based duties.
The role involves providing regular reporting on data and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. This position is heavily administrative and call-center oriented, so strong time-management skills and demonstrated administrative experience are essential.
This is a full-time role based in Newcastle.
Skills and Experiences:
About you
* Knowledge of the ESS system - Desirable
* Mentoring or case management experience in an Employment Services - Desirable
* Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional phone manner with the ability to yarn with our participants
* First Nations Cultural sensitivity
* Strong organisational and multitasking ability
* Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure and handle customer complaints
* Must have WWCC and pass a police check.
