Due to an increased demand within our business, SYPAQ are seeking a Project Scheduler with Defence experience for a long-term contract opportunity with a Defence prime. The role is based in Melbourne and offers an immediate start.
Responsibilities Include
* Develop and Maintain Schedules: Create, monitor, and review detailed project schedules to align with project objectives.
* Track Progress and Reporting: Develop mechanisms to monitor progress, manage schedules, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
* Issue Resolution: Assess project issues and collaborate with project managers and senior stakeholders to develop solutions that meet productivity, quality, and client goals.
* Resource and Data Analysis: Work with program management to plan and manage resource requirements, analyse data, and prepare reviews.
* Compliance and Documentation: Interpret and review tender or contract documentation to ensure schedules meet contractual obligations.
About You
* Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Defence Project Experience: Proven experience in scheduling for large, complex Defence-related projects.
* Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to deliver results in complex environments and resolve scheduling issues.
* Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MS Project and working knowledge of related disciplines such as forecasting and cost estimation.
* Results-Oriented: Ability to consistently produce high-quality outcomes under challenging conditions.
The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizen with a minimum of Baseline Security Clearance.
