About the Transport Services Unit
* The unit collaborates with community groups, businesses, and government agencies to provide integrated infrastructure and services across the Northern Territory (NT).
* The Transport Safety and Services unit is responsible for operational and regulatory transport safety and services across the NT.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting on-road patrols to proactively address potential anti-social behaviours, taskings, and requests for assistance on the bus network.
* Interacting with colleagues and the public in a fair and equitable manner.
* Promoting a highly visible presence while showcasing a positive image of the Transport Services Unit's services.
Requirements:
* Familiarity with contemporary customer service techniques in diverse cultural settings.
* Developed interpersonal skills, enabling effective conflict resolution.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in computer applications.
* Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, as well as understanding Workplace Health and Safety principles.
