The role of Project Officer is pivotal in supporting operational teams in delivering projects and portfolios that align with the organization's strategic goals and outcomes.
* Administrative support will be provided for various projects, initiatives, services, or systems
* Meetings, events, and travel arrangements will be organized efficiently
* Customer service will be delivered to members and stakeholders
* Procurement and purchasing processes will be managed effectively
* Reports, minutes, presentations, and other materials will be prepared timely
* Corporate records will be maintained and mail services coordinated
* Travel and fleet coordination will be supported
* Improvements to tasks and procedures will be identified and implemented
Successful candidates will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, enabling them to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of Aboriginal Australian culture is also essential, allowing for sensitive and effective communication with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
A full-time appointment is being offered, with opportunities for casual employment during peak periods. Staff benefits include physical exercise allowance and discounted health insurance. Not-for-profit salary packaging up to $18,550 (tax-free) per annum is available.
