Summary of the Role:

We are on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as an Electrical Robotics Technician. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well in a high performing team, and have a passion for innovation and automation, then please apply via the link below.

Our Electrical Robotics Technician's will work as part of a team to oversee and manage the safe and efficient operation of the terminals automated equipment, completing work to the highest standard and ensuring continual improvement of equipment reliability and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities as required in compliance SWMS,SOPs and work instructions.
* To ensure the safe operation of the Terminal within the context of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company determined safe operation procedures.
* Obtain and maintain an intimate knowledge of related operational equipment, features and ancillary devices related to the function of the container terminal.
* To accurately and promptly report any operational concerns regarding technical and/or mechanical failure and/or damage.
* Ensure accurate and timely communication between all levels of employees and others in regard to technical and operational functions.
* Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding, and emergency break down repairs on equipment and systems as required.

Key requirements we are looking for:

* Victoria A-Grade, Unrestricted electrical License.
* Heavy industrial background would be highly advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of PLC fault finding
* Intermediate knowledge of using Microsoft Windows applications.
* Sound communication skills (written and verbal)
* Minimum 5 years post apprenticeship experience specialising in fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance servicing on heavy plant or mining environment.
* Previous experience working with safety management systems including, SWMS ,SOPs and Permits
* Experience working on a rotating, shift work roster.
