CDC operates in seven countries with over 24,300 employees and serves more than 2 million commuters daily.About the Role:The People and Culture division at CDC is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and self-motivated Recruitment Specialist to join our team at the Bateau Bay depot.The recruitment team is the first point of contact for anyone interested in a career at CDC. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional candidate experience for all applicants, whether successful or not.This is an ongoing full-time position reporting to the Recruitment Manager, providing recruitment support across our network.Duties and Responsibilities:Identify candidates through direct sourcing channelsScreen both directly sourced candidates and applicants for roles at CDCLiaise with depot managers to support recruitment activities across multiple depots and regionsEnsure all applicants possess the relevant qualifications and licenses for the roleCoordinate pre-employment checks with the recruitment coordinatorArrange driving assessments with training providersIdentify marketing opportunities to attract experienced employeesTravel to depots to understand each location and build relationships with depot managers and stakeholdersProvide up-to-date reports on recruitment activitiesAbout You:To succeed in this role, you will have:Recruitment experience, either agency or in-house, or experience in a call center or sales environmentExperience working in a fast-paced environment delivering recruitment outcomesProven ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders and hiring managersKnowledge of compliance with enterprise agreements, awards, and recruitment proceduresExperience using social media to source candidates and promote the organizationCreative sourcing skills and a proactive approachExcellent time management and organizational skillsCommitment to confidentiality and professionalismProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (intermediate level)Experience with applicant tracking systems or CRM platforms is highly regardedIf this opportunity excites you, don't hesitate to apply now.CDC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer committed to attracting and developing a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
