As a **Construction Manager** at BORACK, you will oversee multiple racking and warehouse installation projects, ensuring timely delivery, safety, and quality standards. You'll be responsible for leading site supervisors, managing client relationships, and driving performance across the board.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Oversight**: Develop and implement project plans in coordination with site supervisors. Monitor project timelines and ensure successful completion within budget.
- **Team Leadership**: Provide guidance and support to site supervisors and crew. Lead training and development initiatives to improve performance and build capability.
- **Client Communication**: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Provide regular updates, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
- **Quality Assurance**: Enforce and uphold BORACK's high-quality standards. Conduct inspections at key project milestones and implement corrective actions where needed.
- **Safety Management**: Lead site safety audits, enforce PPE compliance, ensure toolbox talks are conducted, and report incidents using BORACK protocols.
- **Cost & Process Optimisation**: Identify opportunities for cost savings, improve workflows, and implement innovative solutions to boost safety and efficiency.
**Key Requirements**:
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to manage teams and projects.
- Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and managing technical documentation.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with relevant Australian OH&S legislation and industry codes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with stakeholders, clients, and teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- White Card, Forklift Licence, Scissors Licence and First Aid certification (required).
- Current Driver's Licence (required).
- Willingness to travel between sites across Queensland (and occasionally interstate).
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in construction or warehouse installation.
- Qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management (highly regarded).
