2 Facilities Assistants
to bring maintenance support in-house and ensure the smooth, safe operation of the campus.
About the Role
This is a practical, hands-on role where no two days will be the same. As a Facilities Assistant, you'll work closely with the Director of Property & Facilities and the wider team to keep the school's grounds, buildings, and facilities operating at the highest standard. From general maintenance through to event setups, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the campus is safe, functional, and welcoming.

Experienced tradespeople
(plumbing or electrical) seeking a stable, manageable role in a beautiful setting
Early-career candidates
looking to gain hands-on facilities experience and develop their skills.
What You'll Be Doing
Performing a wide range of general maintenance tasks (painting, lock repairs, light bulb changes, Test & Tag, grounds work)
Supporting with relocations, deliveries, and setups/pack-downs for school functions and events
Assisting with the upkeep, washing, and minor maintenance of fleet vehicles
Coordinating with external contractors for maintenance and facilities services
Building strong working relationships with staff, students, and service providers
Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards across the school
What We're Looking For
Experience in facilities, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role
Relevant trade qualification (plumbing or electrical highly regarded)
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Positive, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
Commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining a safe environment
