Located on Baker Street, our childcare service is an important part of the tight-knit Kaniva community in the West Wimmera region.
We have a permanent part-time opportunity to join our Early Learning team and help ensure we provide a safe, stimulating and supportive environment for children in small group sizes in our long day care service.
You will play an important role in assisting our Room Leaders and other qualified educators to provide social and educational activities to build a child's sense of belonging, resilience, kindness and teamwork.
Responsibilities
* Assist Room Leaders and other qualified educators to provide social and educational activities for children.
* Support a safe, stimulating and supportive environment for children in small group sizes.
* Contribute to development of children's sense of belonging, resilience, kindness and teamwork.

Part-time work: 20 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, 5 hours per day, covering staff lunch breaks.

Your skills and experience
You have proven experience delivering high-quality play-based learning and a collaborative approach that strengthens team practice.
You'll also bring:
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
* Certificate III considered for strong candidates
* First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Working with Children Check
