Job Title: Mental Health Specialist
Job Summary:
The position of Mental Health Specialist is open for applications. This role involves providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in the Northwest region of Tasmania. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care, assessments, and treatment planning in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver secondary level mental health interventions to children and families.
* Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers.
* Collect and review client and service outcome data.
* Contribute to continuing quality and safety, service development and improvement, and professional development processes.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study, registration with the relevant National Board or full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association. They must also hold current Working with Children Registration (where applicable), a current Driver's Licence, and minimum 2 years post graduate experience in an area relevant to the role.
