The role
This Position
This position presents an exciting opportunity to shape the service delivery of Signature Care into the future during a period of significant change in the aged care sector. We are looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator to assist in the process of continuous improvement in keeping with the intent of the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements at our new residential aged care residence.
Work Details
Part‐time, three days per week, 39 hours per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the residential aged care home with compliance and policy protocols, accreditation, auditing, and processes to achieve 100% compliance within the Quality Standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- AHPRA registration (RN) – mandatory
- At least 3 years of aged care experience, preferably in a quality role
- Demonstrated quality, compliance & clinical governance understanding
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process
- Excellent understanding of quality assurance & auditing processes
- Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
- Experience in continuous improvement, gap & risk analysis is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate, educate and mentor clinical staff
