Your New Role:
As State Manager, you'll oversee the store portfolio spanning across metro and regional areas. Reporting into national leadership, this role is responsible for performance across sales, people, operations, and customer experience.
* Work closely with your managers to support, guide, and empower them to hit sales targets, deliver great service, and keep operations running smoothly.
* Be hands-on with your teams, whether that's helping with rosters, keeping wages on track, or making sure stores look sharp and well-presented.
* Build a culture where people feel accountable, motivated, and proud of what they do every day.
* Keep a close eye on the business and respond quickly to any trends, challenges, or opportunities that come your way.
* Stay connected with head office to share feedback, support training, and align on promotions and brand direction.
* Champion the customer experience by making sure every store reflects the brand's values, style, and standards.
* Travel across the state to stay visible and connected with your team.
The Experience Checklist:
* Proven experience leading multiple stores, whether as a State, Area, or Cluster Manager.
* A strong background in fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail, where both people and product are at the heart of the business.
* Commercially minded, confident working with results and KPIs and able to take clear action when needed.
* Passionate about developing others and known for building strong, capable teams with clear succession plans.
* Highly organised and comfortable managing a broad portfolio with competing priorities.
* Hands-on and present, someone who enjoys being in stores and leading from the front.
Due to the travel involved in this role, you must have a valid driver's license.
