We specialise in overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electricity distribution networks, providing expert civil and electrical solutions for residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand – Electrical to supervise crews and coordinate civil works on major electrical infrastructure projects across Sydney, the Central Coast, and Newcastle. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery while working around live electrical assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise civil crews on-site
* Coordinate daily works and allocate tasks
* Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and safe work practices
* Work around live electrical assets and underground services
* Liaise with supervisors, project managers, clients and utilities
* Monitor productivity, quality, and project timelines
* Assist with plant operation and civil works as required
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a Leading Hand or senior civil role
* Strong background in civil construction and trenching works
* Experience working within electrical or utility projects
* Current Driver’s Licence and White Card
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* MR or HR Truck Licence (desirable)
* Ausgrid Pegasus Training (highly regarded)
* Ability to read and interpret plans
* Strong communication skills
