As a skilled mechanical engineer, you will be the technical expert and reliability lead for a designated area of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading safety practices to promote a safe work environment across teams and contractors.
* Developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and availability.
* Identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects to ensure long-term sustainability.
* Managing spare parts inventories to optimize total cost of ownership.
* Coordinating and executing planned shutdowns and repairs.
Our ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical engineering, preferably within heavy industry or manufacturing. Experience leading safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with WHS standards is essential. Excellent communication and leadership capabilities are also required.
