Veolia ANZ is seeking a Cadet or Graduate Engineer to join our water team based at Cameron Park, 2285. As the Cadet /Graduate Engineer, you will provide technical support to our Hunter Water Alliance Process & Sustainability Team, ensuring the smooth operation of our water & wastewater treatment plants. You will assist with data entry, monitoring, compliance assessment, troubleshooting, and reporting, as well as participate in process investigations and problem solving.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Collection of data for weekly, monthly, and annual reporting
Generate operational, contractual, and regulatory reports
Participate in monthly and annual compliance and sustainability target tracking
Maintain, develop, and improve operational and compliance spreadsheets using VBA macros
Assist with process investigations, troubleshooting, and problem solving relating to wastewater treatment
Provide technical support for potential upgrade/improvement projects
Assist with process optimisation to ensure effluent quality targets meets contract and regulatory requirements with optimal use of energy and chemicals
What You'll Need To Be Successful
Recently graduated or currently studying for a Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
A strong desire to pursue a career in the water industry
Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to show initiative and be proactive whilst working autonomously
