We are seeking an experienced and motivated Training Manager to lead our training operations and drive excellence across all programs. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of compliant, innovative, and industry-aligned training while fostering strong relationships internally and with Industry stakeholders.
Working closely with the General Manager Training, you will provide strategic leadership, oversee training delivery and assessment, and contribute to the long-term growth and sustainability of the RTO.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Lead and manage diverse training programs including on-campus, traineeships, apprenticeships, VDSS, and flexible delivery.
* Ensure training and assessment is of high quality, compliant, engaging and aligned with industry standards.
* Provide leadership and direction to training staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and collaboration
* Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, schools, and stakeholders
* Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management processes.
IS THIS YOU?
* Minimum 3 years in a similar leadership role within an RTO, business, or VDSS environment
* Proven ability to manage training programs, ensuring compliance and quality outcomes
* Demonstrated success in growing existing business and developing new opportunities
* Experience in budget preparation and management
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of ASQA outcome standards 2025 and RTO state government funding contracts
* Proven leadership, management, organisational and negotiation skills
* Excellent communication stakeholder management skills
* Experience with VETtrak, or similar student management system
QUALIFICATIONS
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (highly desirable)
* Current Driver's Licence
* Employee Working with Children Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching licence
* Australian Federal Police Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching licence
