We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer - Government Advisory/Litigation & Dispute Resolution to join our team. This role will focus on providing merits review for a Commonwealth Government agency.
About the Role:
* Draft summaries of evidence and statements of issues.
* Assist and attend case conferences and hearings.
* Conduct directions hearings.
* Draft litigation strategies.
* Complex statutory interpretation.
About You:
* Approximately 1-3 years post qualification experience, ideally with experience in government advisory work, and have a strong interest in administrative law and statutory interpretation.
* You may have a background of working in government and be keen to make your first move into a law firm. Alternatively, you will be doing similar work in another firm and looking for a new opportunity.
* You will have strong drafting skills, excellent communication skills, and a collegiate approach.
