We are seeking an experienced and dynamicAdministration & Private Practice Manager to lead our administrative and private practice services within a growing, specialist mental health hospital.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of private practice administration, supporting our psychiatrists and clinical teams, and ensuring a high standard of patient experience, efficiency, and compliance.
About the Role
You will lead and support the administration team across private practice and hospital functions, working closely with medical staff, nursing, and executive leadership.
Your role will include:
* Managing private practice operations including appointments, billing, and clinician support
* Leading and developing a high-performing administration team
* Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary clinical teams
* Overseeing Medicare and health fund billing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Supporting workflow improvements and operational efficiencies
* Providing flexible support across departments as required to meet service needs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in a medical or hospital administration leadership role
* Strong understanding of Medicare and health fund billing processes
* Experience working closely with doctors and clinical teams
* Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and support staff
* A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work across multiple departments
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Desirable Experience
* Experience with Genie, Gentu, WebPAS, and/or CyberQuery
* Experience within mental health or specialist private practice settings
