Your work will help ensure that our residents feel comfortable, cared for, and at home. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.You'll handle:Cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and safe environment for residents and staff.Laundry tasks, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and labeling resident clothing and linens.Distribution of linen and resident clothing; maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment.About YouTo thrive in this role, you should have:Experience in cleaning or laundry services, preferably in aged care.A genuine passion for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols.Good communication and teamwork skills.Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook and Internet Explorer.DesirablePrevious relevant work experience, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team environment.A qualification relevant to the field.RequirementsPossess a current National Police Certificate or the ability to acquire one.Possess a current NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to acquire one, (where the service and role supports individual NDIS participants).About UsWe are one of Australia's largest and most diverse not-for-profit organisations, with a legacy of care and compassion spanning over 140 years.
