As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding their market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales quotas for safety equipment solutions in Queensland.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in various industries (chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, mining, manufacturing, utilities).
Identify customer needs and present solutions to meet safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
Manage a network of distributors and channel partners to promote and sell products effectively.
Deliver impactful sales presentations and technical seminars to educate customers.
Negotiate and close subscription contracts, adhering to company pricing and sales policies.
Travel regularly to meet customers and attend industry events.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, application engineering, customer service) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
We're looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial safety.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
