Acute Mental Health Specialist Role
At a regional health service in Australia, we are seeking experienced mental health professionals to provide community-based assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing acute mental illness and/or substance use issues.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and substance use issues, identifying areas of concern and developing targeted treatment plans.
* Provide individualized interventions, including counseling, education, and support, to help clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
* Collaborate with clients' primary care providers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
Requirements:
* Registration as a Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Clinical Psychologist with the relevant Australian health professional body.
* Proven experience working in mental health and substance use services, with a strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
