We're partnering with a fast-growing, well-backed fintech in the property finance space that's quietly transforming how mortgage brokers do business.
They're now looking for an Inside Sales Manager to step into a true lead-from-the-front role — part people leader, part hands-on sales professional.
The opportunity
In this role, you'll split your time between:
* Leading and developing a high-performing team of desk-based BDMs and BDRs, and
* Managing your own broker portfolio, driving broker engagement, activation, and origination growth.
This is not a "sit on the sidelines" leadership role. You'll be hands-on, coaching by example, setting the pace, and playing a key role in scaling the sales function as the business continues its rapid growth.
What you'll be doing
* Coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of desk-based sales professionals to consistently perform at a high level
* Driving strong pipeline discipline, sales activity, and broker engagement across the team
* Acting as an escalation point for complex broker matters and helping resolve them quickly and effectively
* Having value-adding conversations with brokers around loan structures, products, and processes
* Collaborating closely with marketing, credit, operations, and senior sales leaders to deliver a seamless broker experience
* Tracking performance, forecasting results, and sharing market insights to help shape sales strategy and product evolution
* Managing and growing your own broker portfolio via phone, email, and digital channels
What we're looking for
* 6+ years' experience in business development, account management, or sales leadership within mortgage lending, finance, or financial services
* Strong experience working with mortgage brokers and/or aggregators
* A proven sales performer with a history of hitting (or exceeding) targets
* Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coaching salespeople (highly regarded)
* Confident communicator who can influence, educate, and inspire
