Overview
2 personal assistants required to support a happy and lively 13‐year‐old boy living in Launceston.
Responsibilities
* Build a positive relationship with the boy and provide 2:1 support.
* Assist with communication, confidence building and life‐skills development.
* Encourage the boy to enjoy activities such as swimming, water‐based activities, outdoor walks and animal interaction.
* Help the boy participate in his local community and with his family.
Hours and Pay
Up to 6 hours per week are available, and this is flexible. Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
The rate of pay is £12.60 per hour.
Qualifications
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people is essential. A full driving licence is desirable.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
