About the SIL Lifestyle Support Worker
As a Supported Independent Living Lifestyle Support Worker you will assist recipients with their with daily tasks and activities to build life skills and connect with the community.
We are looking for individuals who would be interested in working in Supported Independent Living these shifts vary with a combination of days, nights, evening shifts including sleepovers and weekends.
selectability are currently seeking individuals who would be interested in working predominantly night shifts in the supported independent living space. Balancing work and personal commitments can be a challenge, whether you are pursuing further education or caring for loved ones during the day, having the flexibility of working a night schedule can assist to support your lifestyle.
About you
To be successful you must:
* possess clear and effective communication skills
* demonstrate computer literacy and accuracy in record management
* experience working in a team environment
* exhibit an ability to problem solve
* be able to follow policies and procedures at all times
* be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
Role requirements
* a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
* a currently registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive insured vehicle
* current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or the ability to obtain)
* a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate
