Waste Truck Drivers
Located in Jandakot, Perth, we are seeking Waste Truck Drivers for a full time position with a temporary contract and the potential for permanent employment. This role involves visiting 50-70 sites daily, with the earliest start time being 4 am. Candidates must be permanent residents or citizens. The position requires experience in waste truck or truck driving, and an HR license is mandatory. The role demands physical fitness and proficiency in various skills, including vehicle operation and route planning. This opportunity offers a takeover option by the client, providing a pathway to long-term employment
Responsibilities
- Operate waste trucks to visit 50-70 sites daily, ensuring timely waste collection
- Start work as early as 4 am to meet daily operational requirements
- Maintain high safety standards while operating vehicles and handling waste materials
- Plan efficient routes to optimize time management and fuel usage
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with site personnel
Your Profile
- Demonstrated ability in vehicle operation, particularly waste trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong safety awareness to ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Effective time management skills to meet daily site visit targets
- Proficient in route planning to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time
- Problem-solving skills to address any operational challenges that arise
