We deliver unforgettable Great Barrier Reef experiences, from vibrant coral gardens to breathtaking marine life, inspiring and exciting customers from around the world while creating memories that last a lifetime. In addition to our regular tours, we deliver private charters and group experiences, including adventures on our latest charter vessel, Aquarius II.
About the role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Groups & Charters Sales Agent (Reservations) to join our team in Cairns. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for all group and charter bookings across Experience Co brands. You'll be responsible for managing reservations end-to-end, liaising with clients, agents, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and unforgettable experiences.
About you
You are a friendly and approachable professional who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service. With excellent communication skills across face-to-face, phone, and email interactions, you enjoy building relationships and ensuring clients feel supported throughout the booking process.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Manage the full reservation process for group and charter bookings.
* Provide prompt updates to clients and agents, handling amendments and payments as required.
* Liaise with operations teams and suppliers to confirm availability, capacities, and special requests.
* Ensure all guest touchpoints — pre-arrival, check-in, and post-event follow-up — are handled professionally.
* Maintain accurate records of bookings and charters for reporting purposes.
* Stay informed on product developments, operational restrictions, and additional activities to provide accurate information to clients.
* Identify and support opportunities to increase revenue in collaboration with the Sales and Business Events team.
* Assist other Contact Centre teams with overflow sales and ad hoc tasks as required.
