Senior Contract Administrator Job Overview
This pivotal role involves ensuring the successful commercial delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery.
* Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyse and report on commercial performance, offering actionable insights.
* Contractual Guidance: Provide expert advice on financial forecasting, payment processes, contract controls, and claims resolution.
* Change Management: Lead commercial aspects of change control, ensuring transparency and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
* Cash Flow Oversight: Conduct detailed cash flow analysis to support financial planning and project sustainability.
* Client Integration: Operate within client offices, either as part of a seconded team or embedded within a T&T-led delivery model.
* Team Leadership: Depending on experience, you may have line management responsibilities within the team.
Required Qualifications:
* Major Project Experience: Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Commercial Expertise: Strong understanding of commercial frameworks, contract management, and financial controls.
* Alliance Contracting Knowledge: Experience with alliance models is highly valued.
* Dual-Sector Insight: Exposure to both client/consultancy and contractor-side delivery is advantageous.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
* Relevant Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience.
