Role purpose
Solution Architect – Salesforce Focus
We’re looking for a strategic, hands‑on Solution Architect with deep Salesforce expertise — someone who thrives in complexity, sees the bigger enterprise picture, and can design solutions that scale.
In this role, you’ll shape high‑impact architectures spanning customer, corporate and digital ecosystems. While Salesforce is a critical enterprise platform, you’ll architect end‑to‑end solutions across multiple domains, working closely with business leaders, delivery teams, platform owners and external partners to turn strategy into executable, value‑driving outcomes.

Solution Architecture
* Lead architecture planning for complex initiatives where scope and requirements evolve quickly.
* Design solution architectures across Salesforce and other enterprise platforms including digital channels and core platforms.
* Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, cohesive and aligned with business and technology strategy.
* Act as a trusted technical authority from discovery through to delivery.
Salesforce & Platform Leadership
* Define and govern Salesforce architecture across Experience Cloud, Sales & Service, Agentforce, Data Cloud and related products.
* Design integration and platform data architecture connecting Salesforce with enterprise and third‑party systems.
* Lead architectural direction for Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, environment strategy and release governance.
* Oversee platform health, including security reviews and architectural assessments.
* Shape the Salesforce technical roadmap and evaluate current and emerging capabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong, influential relationships with senior business and technology leaders.
* Partner with Program Managers, Product Owners, BAs and delivery teams across the lifecycle.
* Work across corporate, customer and digital domains to ensure alignment and consistency.
Architecture Craft & Innovation
* Produce and govern architecture artefacts including Solution and High Level Design, as well as contributing to patterns, principles and templates to uplift architecture practice.
* Evaluate technology options using structured, enterprise‑aligned approaches.
* Identify innovative opportunities to enhance customer experiences and business performance.
* Mentor and support other architects and technologists.
Experience
About you
* 5–10 years in solution architecture within complex environments.
* Deep, hands‑on experience designing and delivering Salesforce‑based solutions at scale.
* Proven ability to architect across Salesforce, Corporate, digital and data platforms.
* Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
* Comfortable collaborating with multiple delivery partners and vendors.
Technical Capability
* Strong grasp of solution architecture principles, patterns and tradeoffs.
* Expertise in cloud, integration and data architecture (Salesforce, AWS, APIs, identity, security).
* Skilled at balancing customer‑facing innovation with enterprise platform and security constraints.
* Thrives in ambiguity and can bring clarity to complex problem spaces.
Personal Attributes
* Outstanding communication and influencing skills.
* Strategic mindset coupled with practical, outcome‑driven thinking.
* Able to operate hands‑on where needed while providing architectural leadership.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple architecture engagements simultaneously.
