HCDC is the only organisation in Australia focused exclusively on the high-conflict family separation space. We're not a generalist legal referral service, we are deeply specialised, which is exactly why law firms trust us and clients seek us out.
The person who joins us now has the chance to shape not just a role, but a function.
We're building something meaningful and we want people who want to build with us.
We're looking for a commercially driven, relationship-first Head of Sales & Account Management to own our law firm growth engine. This is a hands-on role, you'll be prospecting, pitching, and closing new partner firms, then making sure every firm in our network gets the support they need to succeed.
You'll work directly alongside the CEO (who brings deep credibility and will support you in senior conversations), but you'll be the driver. This is not a 'manage a team' role yet this is a 'build the engine, get your hands dirty and then lead the team' role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Business Development (New Partner Acquisition)
* Identify, prospect, and engage family and criminal law firms across Australia as HCDC referral partners
* Book and run discovery calls, proposals, and agreement sign-ups, supported by the CEO for key meetings
* Manage pipeline from first contact through to signed partner service agreement and onboarding
* Hit and exceed monthly targets for new partner sign-ups and credit commitments
Account Management (Partner Success)
* Own the ongoing relationship with all active partner law firms
* Monitor referral volume and quality, proactively flag issues and opportunities
* Support partners in maximising the value they get from HCDC (support, referral processes)
* Conduct regular partner check-ins and performance reviews
* Identify growth opportunities
* There is hands on support with client referrals
* Drive and monitor client surveys to identify where law firms need support and or coaching.
Internal Collaboration
* Work closely and collaboratively with the intake team to ensure referral quality and client experience is maintained and referral targets are being reached each month.
* Feed market intelligence back into product, marketing, and service development
* Contribute to the build-out of scalable sales processes, scripts, sale of digital products and CRM discipline (Zoho)
* Contribute to the development and delivery of the resource centre and it's related sales and revenue generation.
WHO YOU ARE
You don't need a legal background, however highly regarded if you do or have experienced a separation. You do need to understand how professional services firms think. You're someone who:
* Has 3–7 years of B2B sales and/or account management experience, ideally in professional services, SaaS, or a similar space
* Is genuinely motivated by mission-driven work, this isn't just another sales job
* Can hold your own in a room with senior partners and decision-makers
* Loves the hunt just as much as the relationship, you're not purely a farmer or purely a hunter
* Is comfortable operating with autonomy in a lean, fast-moving environment with minimal hand-holding
* Has strong commercial instincts, you understand pipeline, conversion, and what drives growth
* Is organised, follows up obsessively, and keeps the CRM clean without being asked
* Brings genuine empathy for clients in high-stress situations, our end users are going through some of the hardest times of their lives
* Is more than comfortable learning new systems and using online tools including Calendly, Aircall, ChatGPT, ZohoCRM
* Has a growth mindset and eager to build on significant growth
* Thrives on variety and is open to other projects inside the business.
