We are a well-established manufacturing and coatings application business based in Perth, with active project sites across regional WA and SA. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly experienced Accounts & Administration Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
* Full function Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
* Daily and End-of-Month Bank Reconciliations
* Banking of cash monies and Petty Cash Management
* Credit Card Expense Reimbursements
* Job Costing
* Raising and managing Purchase Orders
* Preparation and lodgment of BAS
* Management of Insurance Policies
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
* End-to-end Payroll Processing
* Payroll Tax
* Superannuation
* Construction Long Service Leave
* Ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal regulations
HR & Workforce Administration
* Onboarding of New Employees
* Managing Visa Applications (including multiple concurrent applications)
* Booking and coordinating:
o Training & refresher courses
o Fit Tests
o First Aid certification
* Updating licences and compliance records such as:
o CBH SitePass
o Rapid Sitepass
Operational Support
* Booking accommodation and flights for staff working across regional WA & SA
* Providing internal Computer Support
* Managing procurement of Stationery and Uniforms
Essential Skills & Experience
The successful applicant must demonstrate proven experience in all of the above areas, including:
* MYOB experience preferred but not essential
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar accounts and administration role
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
* Experience working within construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments (highly regarded)
* Ability to manage multiple job sites and competing priorities
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Confident communication skills and ability to liaise with staff across metro and regional locations
* Advanced computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues
