Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our JAS team. We're looking for a commercially driven Territory Manager who enjoys winning new business while building long‐term partnerships to take ownership of our Laverton network. This isn't just a standard rep role; Laverton is the hub of the Western Transport Corridor. You will be managing and aggressively expanding a high-value territory heavily focused on heavy transport fleets, industrial equipment, and major auto-electrical workshops.
What you'll do
* Take full ownership of the Laverton territory, driving top-line sales and managing profitability across a diverse B2B customer base.
* Hunt and convert new business opportunities, specifically targeting heavy transport, earthmoving, and commercial fleet accounts.
* Build bulletproof relationships with workshop owners, auto electricians, and procurement managers.
* Prepare accurate, margin‐conscious quotes and negotiate effectively to close deals.
* Maintain a tight, accurate sales pipeline and utilize our CRM to identify account growth opportunities.
* Actively take market share from competitors by positioning JAS as the premium partner for reliability and technical expertise.
Qualifications
You're a motivated, hands‐on sales professional with strong relationship‐building skills and a passion for the automotive industry. You thrive in a customer‐facing environment and have a commercial mindset focused on delivering results.
You'll also bring:
* Proven experience in B2B field sales, account management, or business development.
* A strong commercial mindset you understand how to read sales data, manage margins, and structure a profitable deal.
* You are comfortable walking into a heavy diesel workshop or a corporate transport office and speaking their language.
* A proactive, structured approach to call cycles and pipeline management.
* Experience or strong technical aptitude within the automotive, heavy‐duty, or auto‐electrical industries is highly advantageous.
