The Role
The role involves power system analysis, modelling, and reporting to ensure security, reliability, and resilience of the South-West Interconnected System (SWIS).
1. Develop foundational knowledge of SWIS, focusing on transmission system limitations.
2. Build understanding of Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM), Dispatch Engine (DE/WEMDE), Security Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED), and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
Your Responsibilities
* Support the development and maintenance of Constraint Equations to represent network congestion.
* Collaborate with internal teams and respond to technical queries related to network congestion and Constraint Equations.
Key Skills
* Knowledge of power system analysis and modelling.
* Familiarity with energy management systems.
