Business Information Security Officer | Senior Associate – PwC Australia role described as part of the global Network Information Security (NIS) organisation. The BISO team works with business stakeholders to understand business models and roadmaps for technology, acting as the primary interface between the business and the global security organisation. Management of relationships with the business is key to delivering on the global cybersecurity strategy. The role focuses on working with business teams to identify and manage cybersecurity risk, and contributes to global workstreams to uplift security posture across the PwC Network.

What you'll do
The BISO Senior Associate role is primarily focused towards:
* Working closely with local stakeholder groups within PwC Australia to drive our global cybersecurity strategy, including IT, Legal, Risk Management, and client-facing teams
* Assisting internal business teams with navigating security assessment processes and the wider NIS organisation, providing security guidance and support
* Identifying and managing information security risk areas such as vulnerabilities and control deficiencies
* Managing and delivering planned projects and risk reduction initiatives from gathering requirements to working with technical teams, testing and rolling out changes
* Contributing to Global workstreams to uplift the security posture for the PwC Network by collaborating with other BISO and CISO teams
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar cybersecurity role working with the business (1 to 3 years)
* Ability to communicate cybersecurity principles to non-technical stakeholders
* Skill in translating data into relatable formats for business teams and senior stakeholders (presentations, dashboards, reports)
* Problem-solving, customer-service mindset and ability to work with business teams to achieve positive outcomes
* Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and recognise when to escalate to management
* Interest in PwC's business model, services, and operating environment as it pertains to the firm's threat landscape
* Project management skills
* Experience working in a globally distributed team is advantageous
