We're looking for an exceptional Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team and work directly with the Chief People Officer (CPO) in a fast-paced, impactful role at Swinburne University.In this role, you'll be the trusted right-hand to the CPO—managing busy diaries, coordinating meetings and divisional events, arranging complex travel itineraries, and preparing key documentation. You'll be the go-to person for resolving issues efficiently and ensuring operations run smoothly behind the scenes.Success in this role calls for discretion, diplomacy, and a deep understanding of internal policies and procedures. Apply now and become a valued part of a purpose-driven organisation making a difference in education and beyond.About YouTo be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:Demonstrated experience in providing high-level senior leadership support including the ability to deal with information of a sensitive and confidential nature.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across cultures, and with staff at all levels of an organisation.Ability to be proactive and show judgement and initiative, to work independently and be an effective team member.Sound analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to collect and interpret relevant information and find appropriate solutions to complex problems.Well-developed IT skills including high level of competency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail, in particular MS Office applicationsQualificationsA degree with subsequent relevant experience and broad knowledge in senior administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.About Swinburne University Of TechnologySwinburne’s strategy draws upon our understanding of future challenges.
