About the Role
Kelsian Group is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Data Maintenance Officer to support the Corporate Procurement team.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with the possibility of extension. The role is primarily focused on data entry, data maintenance, data correction and supporting the resolution of procurement and supply chain data issues within Workday.
The successful candidate will help maintain supplier, purchase item, inventory item, catalogue, pricing and other procurement-related data. The role may also support reporting activities by preparing reporting inputs, checking data accuracy and assisting with basic data validation.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, update and maintain approved procurement and supply chain data in Workday.
* Maintain supplier, purchase item, inventory item, catalogue and pricing records as instructed.
* Enter approved changes to procurement master data in line with agreed processes, naming conventions and controls.
* Update data fields, classifications, units of measure, supplier links, pricing details and other procurement data.
* Assist with identifying and correcting duplicate records, incomplete fields, incorrect classifications, pricing errors and inconsistent naming.
* Support data cleansing activities across supplier, item, catalogue, inventory and pricing data.
* Investigate basic data discrepancies and escalating unresolved issues.
* Prepare data inputs for procurement and supply chain reporting.
* Support basic checking and validation of report outputs.
* Assist users with basic procurement data queries relating to suppliers, items, catalogues or pricing.
* Support data checks, system testing and issue investigation.
About You
This role would suit someone who is accurate, reliable, detail-focused and comfortable working with data and systems.
You will bring:
* Experience in data entry, administration, procurement support, finance support, ERP data maintenance or similar.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel skills.
* Ability to follow agreed processes, work instructions and approval requirements.
* Ability to complete repetitive data maintenance tasks accurately and consistently.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to learn Workday, procurement data structures and procure-to-pay processes.
Experience using Workday or another ERP system is desirable. Experience with supplier, item, catalogue, pricing, inventory or master data records would be beneficial.
