Role
The Role: Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a passionate Chef Manager at one of our key aged care sites in Penrith. Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen without working weekends.
Roster: 6am to 2.30pm
Salary: Circa $80,000 plus super
What This Role Involves
* Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
* Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
* Ongoing Menu Development & Refinement
* Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
* Preparing and presenting texture modified meals
* Bulk cooking experience required
Desired Skills And Experience
* Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
* Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
* Strong communication skills
* Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
