Job Description Kimberley Kids Child Care Centre is now looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) Child Care Worker - Early Childhood Worker to join our centre.
Responsibilities
* Organizing and setting up items and gear for educational programs and playtime for kids
* Promoting positive interactions among children and helping them improve their social skills
* Leading and organizing engaging sessions for youngsters
* Captivating kids through interactive storytelling and playful activities
* Overseeing youth during play and leisure time
* Monitoring children's everyday schedules
* Ensuring cleanliness and personal care practices are followed by kids
Requirements / Qualifications
* At least 1-year relevant experience
* Relevant Qualifications
* Be a positive person who will develop strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the community in an inclusive manner.
* Actively join our group of educators with a focus on providing a culture of excellence in education, care and supervision of all children.
* Have excellent written and verbal skills.
* Have excellent knowledge of and the ability to successfully contribute to every element of the National Quality Standards.
* Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
* A sound knowledge of Education and Care Services National Regulations, Legislation and Law.
* Have a current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willing to obtain).
* Have a current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
Position: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week) Salary: $68,000 – 90,000 per year
