What You'll Do
Prepare and present dishes to Hilton's high standards of quality and consistencyComplete all mise en place for relevant menusSupport the kitchen brigade and collaborate across departmentsMaintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination in all work areasMonitor food costs and contribute to revenue targetsReport maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues promptlyComply with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulationsStrive to meet departmental goals as part of a dynamic team
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice ChefNVQ Level 1 (Level 2 preferred) or equivalent qualificationStrong English communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage time effectivelyTeam player with a passion for learning and culinary excellenceCompletion of a basic food hygiene courseAccredited commercial cookery course or trade apprenticeship
Desirable:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalentExperience in high-standard, fast-paced kitchen environments
