The OpportunityPerigon Group is a leading Australian recruitment firm with a strong national presence and a reputation for delivering trusted talent solutions. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our internal finance function on a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave contract.
The Role
This is a critical, hands-on role supporting the Managing Director and Divisional Financial Controller, offering broad exposure across payroll, reporting, compliance, and financial operations.
* Lead end-to-end financial operations, including month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and management reporting
* Manage statutory and compliance obligations (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, FBT, Labour Hire Reporting)
* Deliver weekly and monthly reporting, cash flow forecasting, and audit support
* Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, including invoicing, payments, and financial controls
* Manage permanent and temporary payroll, including commissions, compliance, and data integrity for 160+ contractors
* Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to strategic initiatives
About You
* Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role
* Strong background across payroll, reporting, compliance, and financial controls
* Advanced Excel and financial systems capability
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
* Professional services or recruitment industry experience highly regarded
