ING, Australia's most recommended bank for the 3rd year running is looking for a **Risk Manager** who will be a fundamental pillar and integral member who will be joining our **Wealth Tribe**.
You are someone who has a good understanding of either superannuation, investment or general insurance (Wealth) products and how they work, an understanding of 3 Lines of defense models, self-motivated, has good analytical and communication skills and a basic understanding of agile working practices.
You'll be participating in Wealth risk and remediation activities to support ING's continual growth within the regulatory and risk environments. Supporting and driving Wealth stakeholders in the identification and review of operational risks in the product lifecycles, designing mitigating controls and underlying processes. You'll be working with 2nd line to ensure controls are properly designed and operated, driving top down reviews of the Wealth portfolio and contribute to the future projects improving ING's end to end processes.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Managing and governing the risk and compliance aspects of the existing super and insurance portfolios across a squad structure
- Identifying and assess risk impacts to Wealth, developing mitigating controls
- Owning or participating in root cause analysis for open risks and assist or own the implementation solution to prevent the recurrence
- Supporting in implementation of regulatory changes
- Helping to design risk and compliance strategy (and will be required to implement this at times) for Wealth products in keeping with ING's brand, local, global strategic and regulatory objective
- Providing support to internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting in aligning the various stakeholders' differing interests ensuring that the team's interests and priorities are met
**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- 2+ years' experience risk/product related role
- 3+ years' experience in a Financial services background
- Knowledge of the Australian wealth industry
- A sound understanding of relevant prudential standards and obligations relating to superannuation
- Strong written and verbal skills
- The ability to negotiate with all levels of management and external stakeholders to influence decisions, make recommendations and implement change
- Strong attention to detail
