* Cleaning, meal preparation and housekeeping tasks are essential to keeping homes safe and welcoming for our clients.
* Assisting with domestic duties such as laundry, cooking and household tasks is also a key responsibility of this role.
* The successful candidate will be required to provide friendly social support and transport services to clients, helping them attend appointments, shop or participate in community activities.
* Accurate record-keeping and reporting of client changes is crucial to ensuring that care plans remain up-to-date.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* A current Senior First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is a must-have for this role.
* A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are also essential.
* The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
* A National Police Certificate is a requirement for this position, although a willingness to obtain one is acceptable.
