Electrical Estimator Commence Mid-January.
Rowville Based Electrical Contractor.
We are currently a Commercial based contracting company working on mainly tier 3 commercial projects.
We require the services of an independent minded Electrical Estimator to support us in the next level of our expansion into Tier 2 projects.
Our area of expertise is in the following areas.
* Medical centres
* Aged care and assisted living facilities
* Data and Fiber Optic cabling
* MIMS Cable (Pyrotanex) Installation and repairs
* Design and Construction projects.
* Technical and Value Management support.
What qualities we are looking for
* To be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Preparation of accurate labour and material take-offs with unit rate cost breakdowns.
* Review and appraisal of supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Ability to adapt to current and ongoing industry standards.
* Quality Control of all aspects of proposals and tenders submitted.
* Offering of Beneficial and Balanced Value Management offer that provides cost savings to the project.
* Handing over of successful tenders to project managers.
Who we are looking for.
* A grade Electrical tradesperson with minimum 3 years of experience in the commercial electrical contracting field.
* Previous experience in full time estimating.
* Ability to think 'laterally or outside of the box'
* High attention to detail.
* Strategic thinker, able to identify cost savings, margin improvement opportunities etc.
* Can grow and lead the estimating department to support the company.
* Development of new leads and growth opportunities.

* Salary opportunities include Base Salary $110k plus super + company vehicle after qualifying period.
What we require:
CV highlighting past work experience, additional industry education and training.
Australian PR or right to work in Australia.
Examples of previous larger projects that you have been successful in or helped to win.
Proficiency in producing and running MS Excell spreadsheets.
Proficient Computer and Data skills.
Your ability to handle multiple tenders, meet deadlines and deliver accurate estimates.
