About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduler to join our team, supporting maintenance delivery across a complex industrial environment.
This role is critical in ensuring accurate planning, resource optimisation, and successful execution of work scopes using Primavera P6 and Maximo.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed, logic-linked schedules in Primavera P6 from Maximo work plans across all disciplines
* Build and maintain schedules aligned to an agreed WBS structure, including critical paths, milestones, risks, and contingencies
* Establish and maintain a clear Enterprise Project Structure (EPS) aligned with reporting and financial requirements
* Resource-load all schedules and generate weekly resource histograms and forecasts
* Integrate schedules into the broader portfolio and Master Schedule
* Maintain and update resource data to support accurate forecasting and planning
* Provide expert advice on resource requirements for critical work packages, supporting timely procurement and contractor engagement
* Assist in developing detailed job plans, including scope, methodology, labour, materials, tools, and duration estimates
* Integrate P6 schedules into client systems using Maximo
* Monitor and report on performance against KPIs, including progress, milestones, and variance analysis
* Produce high-quality reports with clear, concise commentary in line with agreed reporting cycles
About You
* Tertiary-qualified in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline
* 5 + years experience in Scheduling, Planning within heavy industry or maintenance environments
* Advanced expertise in Primavera P6
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
* Experience with Maximo CMMS (highly regarded)
* Solid understanding of project delivery frameworks and engineering practices
* Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), productivity tracking, and resource optimisation
* Ability to estimate and plan resources for critical trades and complex scopes
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
