Located in the tropical paradise of Far North Queensland this is a truly unique role that has only become available once in the past twelve years.
Consistently ranked in the top echelon of Golf Courses within Australia Palmer Sea Reef is truly a hidden gem within the golfing landscape.
The position reports to the Company Head Office in South East QLD. While a golfing or a sporting background would be highly advantageous, it is not essential. Proven successful management of a club, business or similar organization would be highly advantageous.
The role:
The Course is seeking to appoint a new General Manager to provide overall strategic and operational leadership.
The role will be to oversee the daily running of the course including:
* The smooth day-to-day running of the club and all applicable compliance responsibilities.
* Strong financial management and administration experience.
* Successful track record of sales,
* Marketing and promotional work experience to secure and retain business partnerships.
* Assisting with running club tournaments and events.
* Exceptional stakeholder management including members, guests, local government, and other organizations.
* Developing and leading high-performing teams and instilling disciplines, technology, management structures and governance to deliver an outstanding membership/guest experience.

Qualifications and skills that would be beneficial.
* Tertiary qualification
* Approved Manager & RMLV Qualifications or Ability to obtain.
