Hamilton Island's Sails Restaurant is reopening with a fresh new look and menu that celebrates coastal living at its best. Set right on Catseye Beach, the restaurant will feature light, fresh flavours, an impressive wood-fired oven, and a stunning daily seafood display where guests can choose their catch to be cooked to perfection.
We're building a passionate new culinary team and are now seeking talented Demi Chefs, Commis Chefs, and Cooks to join us as we bring this exciting new concept to life.

Your Role
As a key member of the Sails kitchen brigade, you'll help deliver a menu that's vibrant, simple, and full of flavour. From preparing fresh ingredients to cooking over the wood-fired oven, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable beachside dining experiences for our guests.
Where you'll make an impact
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes that reflect the restaurant's focus on light, fresh cuisine.
* Support senior chefs in all aspects of service and kitchen operations.
* Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met in every dish.
* Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to food safety standards.
* Contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture.
What we're looking for
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (or working towards completion).
* Previous experience in a busy or high-quality kitchen environment.
* A genuine passion for fresh produce and flavour-driven cooking.
* A great attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
