Production Operator - Rotating shifts - Carole Park
We are seeking Machine Operators / Forklift Drivers to join our Production team on a rotating roster at our Carole Park site.
Shift Patterns Available
* 4/4 Roster - 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off
* 4/3 Roster - 4 day shifts, 3 days off, 3 night shifts
What the role involves:
* Operating concrete mixing, stacking, and splitting machines.
* Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures.
* Setting grinding and cutting edges.
* Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable.
* Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained.
* Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule.
* Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed as required.
* Actively participate in improvement projects.
* Manual handling tasks are performed as part of this role.
* Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work.
* Comply with all WHS safety practices and procedures.
What you will need:
* Experience and exposure within a manufacturing environment, openness to learning trade and skills.
* Open to working day and night shifts and flexible to rotate shifts.
* Previous experience in a quality assurance environment.
* A valid Forklift License up to 8 tonne.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace.
* Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation.
* Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
* All successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.
